games and had a 20-1-2 record, with the only loss being a 1-0
defeat against Santa Rosa Junior College in the state semi-final
game… Had an 0.34 goals against average and set a new school
record for most shutouts in a season (17) and in South Coast
Conference play (12)… Made 51 saves on the season…
Made five saves in each of the three Southern California Regional
Playoff wins… Prior to the post-season, the most saves Coto
had in a game was four in a shutout win over Antelope Valley
College… Posted seven straight shutout wins during the
year…..
Paramount HS: Earned the Coaches Award as a
senior after being named 1st Team All-San Gabriel Valley
League and the team’s Most Inspirational Player as a
junior… Named 1st Team All-CIF, 1st
Team all-league and her team’s Most Valuable Defensive Player
as a sophomore… Was their Most Valuable Defensive Player her
freshman season, while also garnering the team’s Most
Inspirational Player Award… Spent her freshman year on the
volleyball team…..
